  • @Pauly69s Edith really pisses me off in this episode and Mike and Gloria are useless...lives off Archie...sorry but I'm pissed off tonite...baaaad day...

  • agree with Archie...Edith bought the ticket with her money...the $500 is theirs...case settled...))

  • @69ChevyCamaro100 She thinks that because she never would have bought it had Louise not requested it. If she had given the ticket to Louise, and Louise hadn't paid her, I would agree with you. If they had both remembered the ticket, and she had given it to Louise and collected her $2, it wouldn't have been an issue at all, although it would have been nice of the Jeffersons to offer to share the winnings as thanks for the favor.

Oh yeah...they did that, didn't they?

  • I actually agree with Archie. If Edith bought the tickets with their own money, then it is the Bunker's tickets, not the Jefferson's. I really dont know why Edith thinks it is not their ticket when she paid for it with THEIR money.

  • Legally it's Edith's ticket since no money ever changed hands. Now morally - that's another matter. I liked Louise's idea to split. Seems not only fair, but neighborly.

  • Archie: "I ain't never been to Africa!"

Henry: "Neither have I and THAT'S your fault too!"

    Gosh, this show was CLASSIC!....

But truthfully, Archie was right. There was no money exchanged & Louise had forgotten about the ticket all together. Edith wasn't being honest (she hadn't collected money & forgot to deliver), she was being foolish.

  • @UofLCardFan08 But she wouldn't have bought it if Mrs. Jefferson didn't ask to to buy it. A promise, is a promise.
