My twin brother Larry and I wrote a screenplay called "Full Circle" we wrote in a part for Dolly. This documentary is all about traveling from Hollywood to Dollywood to try to put it in her hands!! Its the 25th anniversary of Dollywood this year! and her theme is "Celebrate the dreamer in you" and boy did we ever. Its a modern day Wizard of OZ and Dolly is the Wizard. With amazing Mike Bowen who also came along on the journey, he made Dolly a custom birdhouse of her childhood home. he wanted to give her, so he was chasing Dolly as much as we were. In an RV we named "Jolene" we were on our way! We can say that without Mikey we would have never lived through the Oklahoma tornados, or the 2010 floods of Nashville, or the 60mph sand storms in New Mexico... It was a hell of a ride...and its all CAUGHT ON TAPE.....YIKES Look for "Hollywood to Dollywood" at a festival near you later this fall and spring of 2011. We met so many amazing people along the way. We soon learned everyone loves Dolly. Everyone had a favorite song, or favorite story about her. We also visited her statue in her hometown of Severville, and her flooded store in Nashville "Trinkets and Treasures" and we started off at her Hollywood star in Los Angeles, guess which famous celebrity saw us off on our journey down the road. Give you a hint, he is an Emmy winner.... hmmmm lets just say his most famous line is "Well well well Karen Walker" 8-)
