  • Latin is such a pretty language.

  • Thanks for posting! Could you tell me who the artist is? I have the Spanish text for this motet and would like to know if the artist would want to record if for Youtube?

    Many thanks!

  • Their pronunciation of Latin is clear, what makes the piece more enjoyable.

  • @Kenpachishigo grazie

  • @jasman1000000 Requiem/ Missa Pro Defunctis - T. L. Victoria

  • o que é preciso para fazer isso? (para além de saber as 4 partes :c) )

  • could some one tell me where I can find the music for this plz? :)

  • @1hildegard I see what you mean in this performance, about a certain automatic sound here and there. Vittoria is perhaps more vulnerable to falling down from lack of performance delicacy than some of the other composers. But it's not a drastic flaw -- it just needs to be given back a little of its fur instead of being shaved so close in future. At least with Vittoria. I find some of alqasar's other offerings fresh, charming, clean and not at all mechanical.

  • @1hildegard

I'd like to hear a non autotuned variant as well. :)

He is more than capable. :)

  • Vocal clarity, tuning: exquisite. The words communicate anger, despair, resignation. I am disappointed, therefore, to hear such a mechanical approach. Renaissance music is the stuff of human emotion, flesh & blood. It is *language,* the language of * people* who suffer, who rejoice. In this language, syllables have different weights, phrases are uttered with varying intensity, emotion has its own cadence in time; THE CLICK TRACK HAD NOT BEEN INVENTED YET. Try again, respecting the words.
