first lesson about throws, i made a first tutorial one years ago but now i want to made a better series of tutorial about this. This is the first, about throw and pendulums, sometime there are not pendulums but i think that this tricks are good to do the rest.

note:sorry for the audio bug

  • Not a bad start, I'd love to see where you go with it.

I'd like to see some stuff about centre of rotation and that kind of thing in your series somewhere.

As a beginner thing it'd be good to help people sort out how they'd like the poi to turn in the air.

Some like to throw like clubs, some like to throw more like meteor and this depends largely on the CoG

I'd also like to see head and handle speeds covered in an advanced one. Extra flick on the handle can create interesting patterns. :)

  • Thanks for the advises. :-) Now i have a lot of time and i want to do some basical tutorial (2 or 3 videos about extension+throw, shower etc) and some theorical tutorials on how to put throw in the flow and how rotation is similar as in throws than in isolation.

  • no, i'm using home made handle, using bike-wheel gum, in the last minute of my video "sparagn&cumparisc" is showed. Handle weight is almost 1/3 of the ball.
