First live performance - Rob Martino, One Cloud

This was my first public Stick performance Nov 5 2006, at the Gravity Lounge in Charlottesville, VA. Greg Howard organized a "Stick Convergence" concert which featured several different players. Not the best video quality and by no means a perfect performance but thought some people might be interested.

Yeah, some... I don't know how much of it I actually apply but I took some classical music theory in college and grad school.

Hi Rob. Did you learn on your own or did you have any "mentor" helping you out. From my tiny spot in France, there's no way I could find anyone to teach me, so... despite 25 years of music playing, I need reassuring! Give us some more when you have time. You're great!

Thanks for your comment. I'm mostly self-taught (and use my own custom tuning) but also had some good advice from Greg Howard who lives near me. There was just a Stick seminar in France, and one later in Germany this month, don't know if you've heard about them.

One Cloud is the anthem for the chapman stick as far as I am concerned :)
