This film always seemed (to me) like it was trying to be like Willy Wonka. But with a williams spin. Poorly executeted. I wonder if a remake would do any better.

Okay I have a question. Is this the trailer that is spoofed in the Simpsons episode "Burn's Heir?" In the episode, Mr. Burns is advertising that he wants an heir to his fortune. He is in a grassy field like this alone. The DVD commentary said it was based on Toys but said it was a strange and unique trailer. I just want to know was this the trailer that was "strange and unique?"

This movie had one of the most beautiful sets I ever worked on,
Sad that they cut the best parts out of the movie.
