if you don't know and realize that dashboard is an emo band you obviously don't know much about the genre and it's evolution..
Chris was in Vacant Andys, then Further Seems Forever and was doing DC on the side as an accoustic emo bit... Not much different than earlier Spill Canvas, Red Light Ambition, and many others..
