My Trick

David and I practicing the trick we had to do as "LeFou" and "Gaston" in Beauty and the Beast -- me falling once during it, and then getting it again, after that. Yes - i did hurt myself, but didn't feel it till the next day :P!!!

How did this fit in to any part of the show. With Gaston lying on his back and this fitting in to the story?

The entire show we performed was "dance theater", so the story is told entirely through dance - no speaking or singing. We danced to music from the animated disney movie, and the broadway show. We did this trick during the "Gaston" song. In the Broadway version of "Gaston" there's a lot of instrumental music in the middle of it, and we did a series of tricks together leading into this one. That's how it fits ;)!

Yup, that is lil' mermaid music you're hearing in the background. That was music playing in the other studio which is next door to the one we filmed this in. This was taken during one of our rehearsals for one of our dance productions.

Haha - yea it ended up going just fine! That was the only time i ever fell doing it -- it just so happens it was caught on tape
