Europe running out of gas

Several European countries have had their deliveries of gas through Ukraine cut off, a situation which the EU describes as "unacceptable". Gazprom says Ukraine's energy company has shut off a number of pipelines. Meanwhile, the head of Naftogaz has announced he is ready to resume negotiations

Romania NEVER claimed that it lost 75% of its gas supply !!! Romania produces 70% of its own gas and has a years supply in its own gas reserves. The Romanian Government clearly stated that Romania is NOT experiencing any crisis. Ukraine is clearly sabotaging Europe's gas distribution system on orders from its foreign masters. Its NOT Russia's fault. Its a provocation by Ukraine & Friends

It relies on cheap imports from Central Asia to meet the majority of its other commitments to customers in Europe, amounting to nearly 80bcm. And since only Gazprom's foreign customers pay full market value, it's the company's exports which make up the bulk of Gazprom's revenues—$21 billion for the second quarter of 2007 alone.

Certainly the U.S. never does things like that, nor does the U.S. have any nations that are its poodles. The U.S. uses war as a political weapon, and to help its economy, much more practical than gas and oil.

thingy291 are you really a fool? First is not Russia's fault. Russia gave gas to Ukraine but Ukraine doesnt give the gas to europe because they dont want to. Ukraine steal the gas from Russia because they dont have money. The gas from Russia goes to Ukraine and from Ukraine to all Europe. Thats why Ukraine doesnt give their gas to Europe because they dont have money. And please dont say that is Russian fault because all gas is from Russia! Is actually UKRAINE'S fault
