What is the mic plugged in to? A laptop with a webcam or a normal camera or something?
-
@steamboatwillie11 It would have a nice effect, but most people prefure recording two separate tracks, to give the nice effect. For me what I do is get two mics infront of one cab (make sure they're in phase) record a track, then record anothe track and pan one left and right
-
would doubling work if you just put two mics, one on the rim and another in the center of the speaker, and played the track once?

At first i thought it was Microsoft Sam talking

thanks for showing us different techniques of microphoning guitars!!! This music isn´t my style, but I appreciate a lot, what I can learn from that lesson.
Just the function of this nice preamp wasn´t so clear to me, couldn´t it have been any peace of gear to make it sound like this?

Respond to this video... of course he's a dunbass his name is gibson after all. and fender sucks too. i.e., unless you prefer twanggy swing guitar (then just get the "Eleven-rack") then you suck too!

what the hell is a teepeecal mic choice?
-
i couldnt decide if the was a microphone ad, or an instructional video

guys i owned this amp....his recording techniques aren't the worst in the world. its that amp dude. probably the worst one to put on display for a recording example. as i was taught "you can magnify the color red times a million, but you can't ever find blue in it" in other words shit is going to sound like shit no matter how you record it. he should do himself a favor and sell that thing like I did for a subway sandwich. thats about all its worth

thts fucking dumb you cant tune like that its out of key if you had any brain to get a low play in octives
the part where he says tune one guitar lower than the other one sounded like fucking garbage..lol
