In The Mood (Jemi/Nelena Fan Fic) 4

Jemistry: Nick

"They're coming." Selena yelled as she paddled hard against the current. The wind had picked up making it a lot harder to paddle. I watched her struggle and decided to help her out.
"Hey Sel, Kevin just sent me a text!" I called out, turning my kayak to go towards her, pulling hers to mine. I took out my phone and showed her the message. 1 new message from: Kevin. It read: "We're ditching Demi and Joe tonight."
"I have no problem with that." I winked. "Do you?"
"Mmm. Nope. I don't. But Demi will." she giggled. Her smile is so gorgeous.
"I don't think we should ditch them..." she said after thinking it over.
"Aww come on, Sel. Don't be like that. Come on. Let me see you smile." I beamed.
"Can we at least watch them?"
"Yeah of course that's what we're going to do. But you can't tell them."
"Ok." she promised.
"Please, Sel, promise you wont tell! I know how girls can be. They tell each other everything." I was kind of expecting her to tell her anyway.
"I promise! I'll even pinky swear it." she said, holding out her pinky.
"Good." I said, linking my pinky with hers and then kissing her hand. "Now let's get back before it gets too dark." When we reached the shore, I docked my kayak first and swiftly jumped off.
"Wow. Nick J's got skills." she laughed.
"Off the chain!" I followed. I dragged my kayak onto the shore and then walked over to Selena, grabbing her hands, helping her stand up. "May I?" I asked.
"Of course." she replied. I slowly lifted her princess style and carried her until we reached a set of rocks and placed her down. "Be right back." I said running back to get her kayak.

When I went back, Selena was sitting on the rock with her leg over the other, looking down at her phone. She is so pretty.

"Hey, whatcha thinking about?" I said. She sort of jumped. I don't think she noticed me coming.
"Nothing."
"I know you better than that." I looked her in the eye.
"Just Demi"
"And Joe?" I added. She care's about Demi so much. She's such a sweetheart.
"Yeah. And Joe."
"They'll be fine. I promise." I said holding out my pinky hopefully. She grabbed it and I pulled her into a warm hug. "Come on let's go tell Kevin about Operation Jemistry!"
"Jemistry?" she asked.
"Joe and Demi's chemistry. You like it?" I beamed.
"It's cute. When did you come up with it?" she asked.
"Just now." I said. I couldn't help but grin.
"It's great. Let's go." She smiled. I took her hand and we ran back to camp.
