Created as a video counterpart to the fifth installment of my "The World's Most Terrifying Penises" ( http://dave-littler.livejournal.com/8... ), this is my first YouTube video ever. It is my hope that it serves to both educate and horrify you all in equal parts. Those interested in more of the same are encouraged to visit my journal :

The slug footage, incidentally, comes from a BBC documentary entitles "Life in the Undergrowth", which is actually quite fantastic and well worth watching in its own right.

Oh, and as to the latin name, 'Mucosus Invertebratus Caputithyphallicus', this is not actually true, but it MIGHT be if they had been discovered and named by Carl Chun, whose somewhat whimsical approach to zoology results in us living in a world which contains a creature known to science as "THE VAMPIRE SQUID FROM HELL", which is not actually a vampire, not actually a squid, and not actually from hell, but whose name is otherwise 100% accurate.
