  • what did the vette run?

  • 11.519 @ 125

The Vette Driver is named Ranger

  • I have a stock z28 Auto, with lid filter cut out, free mods, rear lower control arms, smooth bellows, and it did 12.89@107.40 Everything else stock 126,000 miles

  • Ones you Modified it it's no longer Stock !

Anyway, Nice times for the miles, you must take good are of her..

  • @ ssone97

I don't think that was a bad run by the Z06, 11.5 @ 125 mph from a stock vette. I think it was average

  • Since, you said shut up, I'll say it again. I spanked and LS2 GTO!!!! Toasted his arse. Who gives a F@#k what would happen with equal mods. That's not the real world. Race what you brought and STFU is what I say. THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE FASTER whether it be Ford, Dodge, Chevy, etc....

  • Nice

  • damn chief for a car that cost 40,000 more and weighs alot less and more hp you would think it could do better than that well then again thats why i love mustangs go ford

  • @tx77015ls1 That isnt stock lol. Stock means stock. Nothing done to it, the way it came from the factory.

  • @2k05gt yeah ranger is no doubt the best vette driver out there as far as running the drag strip. he has ran some crazy times in stock vettes and ive heard he running them in the drag for chevy tests on the drag times

  • eh def not, i pulled a 12.8 on streets with less mods.

  • i hear ya man i have an 05 Gt a little less modded than this, i have an intake tune, and exhuast with 4.10 gears and pulled a 12.8 as well here in Jersey. Great car but man two alternators in two years and one battery, wtf lol

  • nooo....im not saying that, well lets take a look here, exclude the DRs, street tires for both. 4.10 will throw a lil more torque on the low end, CAI and tune usually good for about 25 hp, and cats usually another 15hp...so intheory at the block u have bout 345BHP and quicker low end gears, so yeah, if i were to guess a stock LS2 GTO on street tires would lose to you with all that and on DR...both on streets its a drivers race with a descent advantage to the goat....but my goat isnt stock fyi

  • IF you run consistant 1.8's and 1.9's in the 60 foot, then you would definately run with me, but LS2 GTO's have wheel hop when they are stock. If you dropped some poly bushings into your IRS, I believe you could come out of the hole screamin.

  • NO, I live in Denver, Co. I was about to buy a Goat before I got the Mustang, and if you were cammed, then I couldn't even come close to you in the 1/4, but what happens is LSx guys get soooooo confident, that they think they can take me out with 4.10's/CAI and tune/high flow cats, and DR's, when they are stock. Not happening

  • Hell no, I can't get 12's at 5880ft above sea level. Neither can a stock LS2 GTO. Hell, a pullied Terminator, or cammed LS1 has a hell of a time getting into the 12's at my track. Trust me, I've seen plenty, plenty, plenty LS2 GTO's run at my track. With an amazing driver, the best that thing could do is about what I do consistanly with my set up. Truth is, 12's don't happen that much. S197's can hit 13.2 with an amazing driver stock. At best your car is about 3 tenths quicker stock.
