2) Become a separate and Independent Nation.
3) Accept Commonwealth status.
4) Become a State.

Shouldn't it be illegal for a secessionist party to operate in the political realm? I mean, if you're just gonna get elected so you can say "So long, suckers!", it seems pretty arbitrary and ridiculous. We'd never allow an "American Independence" Party that wanted to secede. I mean, hell, the Confederacy just left. They didn't form a Confederate Party in Congress
