  • The year I was born.. This is my parents music.. Amazing..thanks for this.. Very Special meaning to me since they are now both gone....Thanks..

  • The late 1940s seems to be a period essentially forgotten today, so its very interesting to hear music from the time.

  • It's fun to see  the songs that were popular the year I was born!

  • I remember Frankie Laine had a hit with Thats My Desire. Also Buddy Clark had recorded many songs with Doris Day around this time.

  • That famous Wurlitzer 1015 (bubbler) model was produced this year. By the time Rock and Roll arrived in 1955, it was already an outdated jukebox and mostly for more affordable locations.
