A militant commander who is holding Army sergeant Bowe R. Bergdahl, 23 of Ketchum, Idaho said on the 24th birthday of NFL QB JaMarcus Trenell Russell—AUG. 9, 2009—that Taliban leader Mullah Omar's council was waiting for a response to its demands before deciding Bergdahl’s fate. His parents, Bob and Jani Bergdahl, released a statement 1/04/12 through the Idaho National Guard expressing hope their son would be returned home safely as soon as possible. @cormack007 You realize that war is like fertile soil to all those contracting companies right? What the US military did 40-50 years ago has been privatized (companies take over duties the military used to do) and now multi-billion dollar companies are profiting big time from contracting with the military in Iraq and Afghanistan. Haven't you heard about the "military industrial complex" former president Dwight Eisenhower warned the US public about before the end of his presidency?
