Hillary Aisenstein Finds It Isn't Easy Being Green

Outside Acme Markets on Germantown Avenue, as Green Party of Pennsylvania Chairperson Hillary Aisenstein was collecting signatures with Brian Rudnick to put him on ballot for Philadelphia City Council, 8th District and Lew Harris on ballot for City Commissioner a man who identified himself only as "Darryl Dorsey" asked Aisenstein and Rudnick to leave but would't say why then told Rudnick he needed Walt Rubel's permission but wouldn't tell him how to get it. When Rudnick and Aisenstein stayed, Dawson apparently called the police. When Officer Davis arrived, he asked Rudnick what he was doing,("collecting signatures") then asked Dawson where the robbery was that had been phoned in. Rudnick and Aisenstein departed the "scene of the crime" as the fourth patrol car with flashing lights pulled in...
