That is correct . Also they had the ITV schools logo on S4C which was substituted for the Channel 4 logo.

Just a bit of thought. Why couldn't ITV Schools On Channel 4 changed the logo when ITV updated it's logo back in 1989?

Because it was thought that the ITV rotomotion looked better in execution apparently. The original idea behind the logo was that Channel 4 and S4C had to provide a national schools programme service by reflecting the national curriculum in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. There were occasions when there were regional opt-outs for HTV Wales (transmitted on S4C), Ulster, Grampian, Scottish and Border Scotland.

If I am correct, S4C had there own version of the rotomotion, with the S4C name replacing ITV, and the same for the countdown.

@racrimbpsvc This was only for when Welsh language schools programmes were shown which were produced for S4C either by HTV Wales or BBC Wales.
