Passport to Insanity - Part 1 of 3 (4:10)
Two climbers tackle a long held dream of doing the Australian mega-classic climb, 'Passport to Insanity' (PTI), in Victoria's Grampians National Park. Featuring a 50 metre offwidth crack capped with a 6 metre roof crack, PTI has captured the imagination of would be aid climbers and hard core free climbers alike.
In Part 1, our adventurers set off from Adelaide and test their non-existant aid climbing skills on a practise route called 'The Seventh Pillar', another classic Grampians climb with sickening exposure.
Music used without permission from Red Snapper, Groove Armada and Infusion, hope they don't mind.
Poor editing!? thanks a lot buddy! ;-)
Will check out your vid as soon as I find a friggin' computer that doesn't have java/flash disabled.

I enjoyed it. The bad camera work and poor editing remind me of my work. I will be climbing in New Zealand next winter (ours - jan-mar - then off off to OZ for some rock before returning to Canada. May have to put passport on the hit list. Check out Polar Circus 1 2 3 similair to yours but on ice not rock winter not summer 3 not 2 1 day not two, ok it's not similair at all.
still I liked your home grown approach.

Don't you recognise the photo used to show the whole of the Fortress? I'm pretty sure you were the one who gave me permission to use it after I found it on the net some time ago!
It was a wild trip and wild fun. We were out of our depth completely and it was the best fun ever!

Hey Utoobers, hope you like this movie which I've divided into 3 parts so it will fit on you tube. If you want to race to the best bits, I'd watch part 3 and then part 2 if you have the time. Please give me some ratings too!! No one has yet, despite quite a few viewings. Cheers
