My father always talked about seeing Ritchie Valens live in El Monte Legion Stadium back in '58... Always talked about how sad it was to hear it when Ritchie Valens, Buddy Holly, and The Big Bopper died. Even 52 years later my dad still calls it music saddest day, that these music icons gone too soon, and too young!
