  • This is a great tutorial. I am planning on making a baby blanket out of this...but, my question is: If I wanted to chain instead of doing the magic circle, how many chains would I do to start out? Thanks for all your great videos.

  • Thank you. I would estimate a chain 4.

  • Teresa, with the 6 sided granny square, and it be adapted to an eight sided square using the magic circle?

  • You can use the magic circle. That will be a lot of stitches so you may want to use a chain or adapt the extra stitches a round later so you do not put to many stitches in the first round.

  • hi teresa! how will I increase with this project? thx!

  • It will increase just like the granny square. As you include increase stitches in the corners, it will continue to get larger.

  • Great. Thank you so much.

  • ok thx teresa!

  • I thank you a bunch. I saw the pattern in a store and thought I could figure it out on my own only to make a mess of it...though I was nearly right this showed me where I went oh so wrong. As well I thank you for the "magic circle" it'll make granny squares and such so much easier not having to remember how many for base chain.

  • I found this but to bad u did show how to turn it in a square lol
