  • @TheNewfavorites probably because hide glue wil loosen up in contact with hot water , steam or alcohol, which is ok if you want that when you're making a violin or something. also hide glue is notoriusly harder to work with because the thickness of the glue and temperature of the glue and the wood must be correct .

  • Is there a reason why you don't use hide glue? Just curious.
