Hey dude I have a 10 gallon tank filled with about an inch and a half full of potting soil and a small plant for air because u keep the tank covered up with a blanket to keep it from drying out. Is that OK?

stupid questions: do you have to ask for breeder crickets or will they be "breeder ready"? also i read on another site that there are breeds that chirp less. Do you know if these are common in pet stores (petsmart, petco etc)? I am breeding these for hedgehogs, can you gut load these like mealworms? Thanks so much for your vid, its the best/easiest one I have found!!

@hiltonmerlinman avg life span is 8 weeks so 4-5 weeks :)
hey man i dont understand did you put the containers in the cage with the crickets inside cos u said you put it in but with crickets in or out of it plz awnser and is the mesh there so the crickets don eat the babies?

OK you put the containers in with the lid off so the crickets can lay there eggs in it then after a day or 2 you take the containers out, put the lids with the mesh on and put on you heat source. The screen is there for ventilation.

what kind of dirt should you use and where can i get it
reptileguy100 3 years ago
I used half dirt and half sand and you can get them at your local garden store or your back yard as long as there are no pesticides being used in your garden or on your lawn.
