This video is a sequence of time-lapse photos of the system operating on a partly cloudy day in Boston. The top left shows the entire system, and the top right shows a tank that is filled with water that has been desalinated. The bottom image plots the solar radiation that is being received by the panel over the course of the day.

@logdogfrog what else water purification technology is more energy efficient than ro? Clearly this video doesn't mention the technology pursued, salinity of input water, etc. Being critical here is not wrong. Btw, please tell me what to look up.

They never say what is the condition of the brine water. The cleaner the input water, the less energy is required to purify. This system is just easy to make, isn't it? It is a fancy RO system.

Potable water powered by nothing more than the sun. There's no reason to fight over water.
