If Muslims (speaking generally) wanted to be taken seriously as a "religion of peace", they would take a very public stance against the violent extremism, to the point of policing their own and working against those extremists. Since I know of no instances of this, their silence implies support. Their actions (or lack thereof) speak louder than any press release.

@jondatyoo2B Islam requires a "Moderate" front to operate and the Mainstream Media's soft journalism like "Muslims in America" only give Islam an even larger cushion to shield the rotten heart of Islam from being disassembled by the reasonable majority. Islam operates entirely using guerrilla warfare in its fledgling stage in a democratic nation and abuses religious freedom. The only purpose of Islam is to SPREAD Islamic law at any price. Our government is too afraid to label islam what it really is a terrorist organization and they are afraid of a muslim uprising so they keep ignoring the problem hoping it will be ok. The problem with that is the numbers keep on climbing and the spread of their hate keeps on spreading until our children will face an enemy too large to handle. The definition of a moderate muslim is a muslim that isn't mad yet.
