The first three minutes are among the most beautiful pieces of music, Pink Floyd (or rather Rick Wright) composed.

I included this in my "Rockin' Halloween" compilation CD. It is Pink Floyd as I remember them since the age of 16.

This is amazing stuff. I always thought this was the best thing on Ummagumma. You can tell he (Rick) put a lot into this piece. The first bit (on here) just sounds like a sunny day in some lush meadow, the mellotron is beautiful. When the first theme comes back in at 5:53 (more mellotron) it's just stunning. Rick is very under-rated. (^_^)

3:14 reminds me of Bach.I always found this rick's experiment very scary and a sort of work written during a period of insanity

Lol! I remember when I'd only just got Ummagumma and had forgotten the loud organ part came immediately after the soft country meadow part. I had the volume loud to hear the birdies tweeting and all of a sudden......I nearly shot through the roof!
Reaching for the volume, as I turned it down I heard my dad say, from downstairs: "What the bloody Hell was that?!!!"
