Content and Systems: A Choreological Investigation into Interactive Dance


This project is an investigation of movement, interactive systems, and the implications of using the two together in a performance context. For this research project, Kate Sicchio will be conducting a series of investigations into contemporary dance and video tracking systems which allow for manipulation of media during choreography. The main focus of the research will look at the use of space, body, and movement in choreography in relation to the system and media, from the perspective of the maker/performer.
