One of three trolleys in the Boeing Aerospace Manufacturing Lab at Georgia Tech. This video demonstrates the improvements in crane performance provided by input shaping.

The crane is controlled with Siemens equipment. Communication from a supervisory PLC to the trolleys, each of which has SIMOTION controllers to handle localized control, is completed over industrial Wi-Fi. The crane is operated via one of two Siemens touch panels, one fixed and the other mobile. The mobile panel also communicates with the system over Wi-Fi.

Video was taken with an iPhone 4 that was held by a Glif (http://www.theglif.com/) and attached to a GorillaPod (http://joby.com/gorillapod). It was edited in iMovie.
