The idea is, great abandoned areas are used as a playground for racers. There is no traffic or anything, but there's lotsa madmen like the player. They do it for the lulz.

its codemasters that develops the game. she developed the whole toca and colin mcrae franchises. on the other hand it makes me skeptical the fact that they developing something totaly diffrent from what they used to.
