I can understand why the idea of mental illness bothers you. I don't hate fake celiacs...i just don't understand why anyone would would want to claim they have a disease when they really don't.

Ulcers can be proven...non celiac gluten intolerance cannot! People and cows wtih ulcers may or may not have mental problems. It's a separate issue. However...people who claim to get better on a gf diet, but don't have celiac disease could be responding to the IDEA that gf makes them heathy! Making that a possible pshchosomatic connection.

LOL. Actually I am 53. But there are days I feel like and Look LIKE I am 153. I have an auto immune illness that has seriously impacted my Natural Glamour.

@karmakomodia..I think it's cruel to pretend you have celiac when you don't. I spent 2 weeks in the hospital over it. I was scared outta my mind. I felt like I was dying. My mom did die from type 1 diabetes. I can't figure you out. Why would you pretend to be a doctor?

why on earth do you pretend to be 55? NO one PRETENDS to be a Celiac!!! Why on earth do you think YOU know everything there is to know about gluten sensitivity. If you agree that there is a connection to Diabetes and GLUTEN ..are all Diabetics CELIACS?

There is a connection between type 1 diabetes and celiac. type 2 has NO connection at all. I'm still waiting for all that great proof you have about gluten sensitivity! Not every type 1 has celiac, but they do share the same genetics. DQ2 or DQ8

A question I have asked many of my own Physicians..

Regarding FLINT. I grew up in Davison...Just buried my father a few weeks ago in Michigan. My mother died a few years ago from Diabetes as well.

Sorry for your loss..It hurts..I know!
