i dont believe we are intentionally imitating any of the US's bad qualities such as pollution or any other such economy building activities. we are very aware of our environmental footprint and we are taking the appropriate action to counterbalance our carbon emissions. materalism is in the interest of the majority. and how is the US a dicatorship? i would vrey much like to hear your idea of a possible better political form

The united states is an evil empire but the idea that any other emerging super power will somehow be better or nicer is delusional. The Chinese, just like the Indians, are imitating the US's worst qualities; its pollution, its meat demand, its selfishness, its materialism, tolerance for brutality and dictatorship. Concentrations of power in any country and in any sector should be opposed.

you know i don't think you should use the fact that United States helps only those who benefit them because that is also true for China. All countries want to seek what is best for their people. However I think China sees every country to be of benefit to them so they help them... which is not really a bad thing at all. Just cuz someone only helps another for their own interest doesn't mean it is bad.

HAHA! that is soo true!!! omg.. i never realized that.. i've been so one-sided about this all this time.

Since the so called civilized world exists we always have had good and bad govermments. And believe me we`ll always going to have them. But we can`t always judge a whole nation because of it bad lidership or lack of their of.And what it`s Israel doing in this picture? My good God why everydody hates Israel?I don`t get it.The palestines came took Israel`s land called their own and now the rest of world expects that Israel wouldn`t do nothing?

Myanmar, Sudan and Tibet have common theme. Myanmar is the ally of China (rival), Sudan is oil rich but is unfriendly to the U.S. government and an ally of China. Tibet is within China can be used to destabilize their rival. Syria is the ally of Iran a competitor for influence in the Middle East. Russia is competitor for influence in East Central Asia and Eastern Europe. Venzuela fighting for influence in South America and some parts of central America.

Unless there is something to gain out of it the American government rarely helps. The American people normally give to charitable causes and disaster relief efforts but the American government tends to do it only if there is something to gain for their corporate backers, lobby groups and for their political careers.
Look at nations like Israel that continually have sanctions placed on it by the U.N. for human rights violations but is vetoed by the U.S.

jerkinp:Supidest thing you ever herd? Are you sure about that?Look into China`s history and you`ll see that they`re one of the countries that more opressed their people with their so called REGIME.Now you come to me saying that the enemy of the worl is the USA?Come on I`m not even an americam and I can see that troughout human and natural disaters they wanted to help people.Look at the nation of Myammar for instance.Come on!!!
Mao did not form the Chinese Communist Party. He was merely a member of the original founders.

Thats the stupidest things I've heard. Its is better to have more than one super power especially one that can oppose the United States the crooked police officer of the world and it evil foreign policy. Current worst enemy of the World is the United States government ... toppling democratic leftist governments in South America and placing dictators, blocking sanction on its allies even though they committed human right violations, invading Iraq ..... The list goes on and on...
