Beyond Reality - Hell's Kitchen Recap 4/16/09
Last week Giovanni was sent home. Hell's Kitchen is closed. Everyone is jetting to the Borgata in Atlantic City. The chefs are given the celebrity treatment. Robert feels sick and is unable to return with the others. Robert is unable to continue in the competition because of health reasons.
Immunity challenge - the remaining four make their signature dishes. They had 45 mins & could use any available ingredient.
Andrea won for her sushi plate & has immunity this week.
Hell's Kitchen opens & Andrea is having a rough time on the fish station. Her food keeps getting sent back for being raw. Ben is having a rough time too. He's not paying attention & is cracking under the pressure. After service they must return to the dorms & come up with two nominees as a team. No one will nominate themselves so they let Andrea do it. Andrea chooses Ben & Paula.
No-one is going home because Robert already went home.
Next time - everyone turns on Andrea & there's a surprise in the dorm.

I hate that they keep excusing her. She is obviously terrible under pressure. She's been bombing for a while now.

If Andrea can't handle the heat she should get out of Hell's Kitchen.

robert didn't have to leave. He most certainly had the condition before he came to Hell's Kitchen what 3 weeks before that, there's probably only a week left in the competition, he could have stuck it out. They put him on meds right away I'm sure. He would have just needed to take it easy between services and he would have made it through ok.

Umm she made raw fish because she didn't know how to cook it. Actually I think she did cook it for Ramsey just as well as she cooked it for the customers...lol. He just thought she meant for it to be raw. Or maybe during service she thought her dish was on the menu.
