Also in the Rush documentary "beyond the lighted stage" Alex was reading the book "God Is Not Great"

The first part is in 4/4 time, which is simple to conduct. The piece then goes into 7/16 time (with an occasional) 3/8 bar. During the 7/16 time, the conductor is beating a 3 pattern that is subdivided 2+2+3. (down = 1,2 right= 3,4 up=5,6,7). He is doing a great job with the conducting.

Lots of the piece is in seven. I can tell when the conductor is conducting the front 3, but I don't get how he's conducting the back 4 - is he conducting it in two? Bitch of a piece to conduct, but I don't get what he's doing.

And Alex Lifeson is a self-taught Gourmet Chef, while Neil Peart is a collector of BMW Motorcycles. And also here's the big one. Geddy Lee is a five time world champion in the computer game of Fantasy Baseball. He says Goodnight to the audience, heads backstage to a cooler for a bottle of water and bee-lines it to his lap-top and starts to play.
