  • People should check the ExpoLineFan page and listen to the sound test footage of a Light rail vehicle near the La Brea Station. You will have something that has not be doctored to listen to.

  • Something tells me that the audio pick up in this video has been distorted. The birds in the Marmion Way Segment sound unnaturally loud. Every time I have gone to visit friends in the Highland Park area I never notice the train to sound that loud.

  • Show me a freeway that's quieter.

  • It's kinda stupid that you guys are comparing an old lrv compared to the new ones. In the Gold Line part, it's obvious that there's going to be a line of caers during rush hour since its a two-lane road. In a street-running section, a train can't go faster than 35 mph, which, after the Western Station, the Expo line doesn't run on a street but at a ROW, letting it go faster. But going back to noise, the Green Line station are louder than this.
