This was the perfect song to start one of my favorite Gladys and the Pips albums. This was the first track on the album. My mom loved this song!

On ourt local radio station in Lancashire in England many years ago they used to have a section where they played listeners' all time top 3's. One day mine got selected and Richard Searling played it. This was at number 2. Super song, and devastating lyrics - "When you're far away, I feel like loving another" Oh dear! So true - so awful, but so true!
