Don't see why... those kids are about as dumb as a rock. California has one of the lowest academic rating in the United States, did they actually think that school going to improve their education?

It would be nice if just a couple of the idiots commenting here actually read about the project. The new school was planned before the economic crisis hit, and ground was broken back in 2006. It was funded by $20 billion in voter-approved bonds that do not impact the educational budget.
Mott Haven School Campus in NY was 235 million, and houses 2400 students, so Bob should keep an eye on his own backyard! That's nearly 100k per student there too!
