I used to have one of these registered for the road - I was suprisingly popular at rallies - can't think why!!!

It had a big rock in the sidecar to hold the sidecar down in solo use - the guy that I bought it from said - "don't take the rock out of the sidecar". After I flipped it going around a corner - I put the rock back ...

When I sold it - I told the guy "don't take the rock out of the sidecar" and .........

Guess us bikers just have to find out the hard way.... ;-)

@milkymilkshakebabe Balance, and weight distribution. Turning a sidecar rig is completely different than turning a solo bike. At those kind of speeds, it can be very tricky indeed. Basically, they do it to keep the bike upright.
