I saw the Ghost Hunters using a new tool they called a Geophone. They used it to measure seismic vibration in the ground to see if ghostly footsteps were actually vibrating the ground like a human's does. I looked into getting one and found that I could only purchase the components. I wasn't sure how to put it all together at first, and could not find a website explaining it. I figured it out, and I decided to put together a video to help others put one together too.
Here is where I got the parts: http://www.bgmicro.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=10783

I have one of those kits. It does not tell you where you solder the geophone and then to the board. Mine has blue LEDs though. Get an input power jack for your geophone project, so you can plug that in, instead of cutting the jack connector off, or you will have loose wires, even though, you can use it that way if you want, check the polarity first! Just make sure you have the battery off. Use some soldering, some switches, and a good mount, and you should be ready have a good custom geo! 5/5!
