A recent video I made showing a time-lapse view of my non-destructive workflow. Purely for visual entertainment, rather than educational purposes. A behind the scenes look showing the art of retouching.

The original time frame was approximately 2.5 hours condensed into 11 minutes.

Please view the video in 720P (HD) and in full resolution. I uploaded it that way to ensure you have an opportunity to see the detail presented.

Photographer: Felix Mack - www.felixmack.com
Model: Jade Corrine

  • Bad move by clonig the eye...you can see that are the same. Simetry is beauty...but not allways!

  • @adiphoto I actually agree. I ended up throwing it in there due to a request given on demonstrating that technique. Unfortunately, it's a common request given to me by my clients. On my own work, I don't go that deep.

  • How are you able to freely rotate the image like you do in this video. Looking at the menus, under rotate, I only see 90, 180 degrees, as well as others. You seem to rotate it with a lot more control. Which is what I would like to do lol. Superb video btw.

  • @artifical007 - On CS5, by default, the 'R' key is set to go to the rotate tool. This allows you to manually rotate the canvas, as you would a regular piece of paper, on the fly. It's great for those like me with a drawing background. You can then switch back to your preferred working tool and continue going at it.

Let me know if this helped!

  • Great video! I thought the photo looked stunning in B&W, i would of been tempted to keep the B&W adjustment layer on.

    Liked!

  • @Killadey Thank you! I loved the black and white as well, I was considering keeping it as well.
