but from the start of the show jack has been shown as not a natural leader. he didn't want to lead but reluctantly took the role because a couple of people pointed out to him that the group had begun to see him that way and were relying on his leadership for hope. and in that scene with his dad, he was being told he can't fix everything

I don't think all this was character building, but I mean, it's season 6 so I think it's a little too late to introduce another 'time travel' agenda you know. But like they said, they're going to touch on a lot of season 1 elements in this season, so maybe.

like your theory man, i always though the same.. an it's cool you're looking for clues in the pilot episode, cause producers have always said thats a key episode...i think that on 6x14 you'll get some answers to your theory, you'll see...
