Thank you so much for this. I'm in exactly the same boat as mauvelabiche. I must have been seven when I used to watch this on the BBC. Thought I was imagining it too as everyone thought it was The Business with Hale & Pace that I was talking about but I knew it wasn't. So chuffed to get to see this again. xxxx

Thank you. I have been looking for this for TWENTY THREE YEARS!!!! I had a vague memory of watching it when I was twelve years old and absolutely loving it, and ever since have been convinced that I imagined the whole thing, because I couldn't find any trace of it anywhere... Thanks Gorkys6. April/May 1987 wasn't it? God that was a great little sitcom/drama. I doubt it'll be released on DVD because of PRS issues. Shame. The music plays a major part in the drama especially the last episode where Mad Mick and his gang tear up the club with Frankie's "Two Tribes" thumping away in the background.
