South Pacific, my favorite musical. A powerful
story with what I feel is the most magnificent music
in any musical ever. During WWII my dad was a
teenage anti-aircraft gunner on the aircraft carrier
Saratoga in the Pacific, & he saw much death &
destruction. Yet amid the ugliness of war there were
opportunities to appreciate the beauty of the sea,
the coral atolls & volcanic islands. That generation
saved the world. After that, they just wanted us to
have a better life than they did.

Absolutely loved this production - just saw it on Live from Lincoln Center, though it wasn't Matthew Morrison playing Joe

LOOVED THE SHOW!!! WANT TO GO BACK TO LINCILN CENTER AND SEE IT AGAIN!!! Kelli O'Hara and the rest of the cast were out of this world!!
