  • What I find really sad is that on Facebook, theres a group called 'Soldiers are not heros'. I realise that although people are entitled to their opinions, there are ways in which they should be made public and that group is not the right way to do so. Another group petitioning to have it removed has been set up...shouldnt be like that tho

  • I'm Proud to be Canadian!!!!!!!!!

  • I haven't had the opportunity to see one of these processions but the pics sure do make my chest swell and feelin' glad to be a Canadian.

  • What a wonderfull video you made , great job. I didn't even know he did a Canadian version of this song.

    Thanks

  • I live in Belleville where one of the 4 soldiers killed was born. Our town was deeply saddened for his death. I have a power point slideshow of this same video and I sent it to FOX news! Our troops make the ultimate sacrifice, and maybe if the americans pulled their heads out of the sand once in awhile they'd know what countries other than Iraq are doing!

  • This is sad but seeing all those people standing there saluting as the procession passes is such a heart warming thing to see.

  • I was at the bridge in Grafton, on Mar 6/09 My nephew is in the army, my son's brother-in-law in the airforce and in Afganistan now, These tributes are as much a healing for the average person as it is for the families of the fallen soldiers.

  • I saw the convoy of hero's travel that highway too many times. That's an awesome video, however, Canada don't end in Nova Scotia!!!

  • Very touching! This is the first time that I have seen pictures from a motorcade. It makes you proud to be Canadian when you see the regular citizens come out to the Highway of Heroes to pay their final respects. I wish that all the troops could come home alive but when they do not it is great to see the Canadian people supporting the troops and their families.
