04/09/10 Rush Limbaugh asks why the United Mine Workers didn't protect the miners at Massey Energy's Upper Big Branch Mine who were killed when the mine exploded under unsafe conditions. Answer: The mine, like nearly all of Massey's mines, was non-union. Massey CEO Don Blankenship rose to leadership by breaking Massey's union mines in the 1980s.
