Both grandfathers fought on the Somme and on the Ypres salient. Four great uncles fell in WW1 Tommy (HAC) at Aubers ridge, Albert and Harold (RA) at Guinchy and Billy Devons at High Wood.
May every soldier R I P from 'ere he comes and whatever language he speaks.
