I think magic is as natural as breathing. We have been lied to about the truths of nature. The magic circle is just another portal. The so called 'elite' did not want us to know this because of it's power and truth.

@Halobitt Evolved rEVOLUTION? I always thought TIM LEARY got it wrong-TURN ON TUNE IN-and DROP OUT-when it should have been DROP IN. Those of us willing to do this shit have to re connect with people, communities so they can pick up what we got and they can ground us-illumination can not be a solo project any-more-that is just escapism. Some folks dont want to do MAGICK-but we all have the benefits from, say, LSD in music and its production, games, genetics, and computers. Heres to the next AGE!

@Michael1984360 But to some extent all definitions ARE private-we have agreed on a space, a psychological landscape (Collective unconscious as net-?), where we agree to agree. The trick is that we all must learn how ideas and words are manipulated to create ANTI-MAGICK results-for example the MUSLIM idea that SLAVERY TO ALLAH IS FREEDOM-when clearly such an idea is an INSANE mind trick. Luckily in the WEST we are getting better of seeing these tricks, from the spin doctor or pope.

@teaClocks Thats the point maybe-its to stretch your head-and even on occasion to reach the unconscious and by pass the defences of ego and I.D. I often sleep with the WORLD SERVICE on, working on the basis that my uncon can use it, understand and scan it, at some point I suspect it will rise to the surface.

If I smell a dish that reminds me of childhood I will make an association from sensory input to a feeling. I know I can have private experiences and I have had thousands, same with every other monkey out there. I am confused though, are you saying that theres no such thing as meaning? how can detailed examination make my memories nonsensical? then nothing makes sense? I can agree with that to an extent. Clear me up a little, I enjoy this dialogue.

You cannot have a private definition of the word 'magic' or any other word for that matter. As Wittgenstein said: imagine that each human being carries a tiny box whose contents is observed only by its owner: even if we all agree to use the word "beetle" to refer to what is in the box, there is no way to establish a non-linguistic similarity between the contents of my own box and that of anyone else's.

but we can and have, reality is always open to interpretation. To deny interpretation would leave us as something that is not human and we can't deny ourselves even if we try. We can get all zen about it if you want, but in everyday life it's just not practical. Everything is permitted.
