At 15:38, Mr. Schaeffer goes into the real reason he's writing these books. Anyone who has followed his career knows what a dishonest, soulless charlatan Schaeffer is. He's built a career on defaming his late parents and writing the most provocative and insulting things imaginable about evangelical Christians. I know he formally joined the Orthodox Church in the early 90s and still runs Regina Orthodox Press, but he ought to be excommunicated, in my view. There's nothing Christian about him.

The real reasons we went into Iraq have nothing to do with dispensationalism or modern evangelical theology. The warmongers and hyper-nationalists of the GOP simply exploited the idiocy and false theology of its conservative evangelical base in order to gain support for their war, which had everything to do with American global hegemony, control of resources, and imperialism and NOTHING to do with theology.
