@clarewads Yup. :) When I was a kid, the school would send us on COUNTLESS trips to Whitesbog, but we would spend more time sneaking into the forest in hopes of encountering the Jersey Devil, haha. Any part of the Pine Barrens was good enough for us.

Actually Whitebog is NOT a Ghost Town. It is a State preserved Historical site that provides educational tours to groups, schools and others of Elizabeth White's home and other historical buildings.
They have a working General Store open on the weekends and conduct two or three festivals annually. Their Blueberry Festival held in June is Fantastic!
Relatives of the White family continue to cultivate cranberries and blueberries to this day.
