  • @ShinyHitmonleeReborn its a mix of thrash metal and classical, which is more insane! :)

  • They should of called this track "The music of Erich Zann" it goes so perfectly with the story (for those of you familiar with H.P. Lovecraft short story) I love this band, one of the best thrash bands without question.

It's a fantastic rendition, not a theme I'd expect to be covered by anyone except other film composers, fair play to them. A good friend of mine got me onto these guys some time back and I'm glad of it.

And a major plus for the Lovecraft reference, too, I definitley need to check more of the work out, I've neglected it for far too long.

  • @binarynightmare You name it. Nice rendition of the "Psycho" theme. TMoEZ is the female parent of all prog metal concept albums. It sounds like ELP, reincarnated in a german thrash metal supergroup (including the almighty Jörg Michael on the drums), without the organ this time but with two proper guitars, 15 years later. When it came out, it blew everything away and set the bar quite high. I mean, we're talking the late eighties. I've loved this album in my mid-teens and I still love it.

  • S & M?

  • @ZZombyWooff The guys at ID software borrowed the melody. This album was released BEFORE Wolfenstein 3D, let alone Doom.

  • Niccccccceeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @Ramayaben indeed. :)

  • 1:38 is so brutal

  • and then it is in some busta rhymes song. it was a music video. aah, it was "Busta Rhymes - Gimme Some More"

  • Damn it I'm wrong, actually. Morbid Angel ripped it off. youtube-search for the song 'Heaving Earth' by morbid angel. The riff is in 0.53 minutes. pretty cool finding, eh? I should post this to the 'metal that sounds like metal' youtube-guy
