Alton Towers Flume Evacuation

*Apologies for some sound and picture quality. My camera is not the best*

A quick but brutal storm hit Alton Towers causing a large segment of tree to fall and land on the second lift. This caused the 'tub' to get stuck, and thus, caused a huge queue of 'tubs'. Here is footage I took around 5 mins after the incident onride, before they had stopped the water and just as the staff had arrived. The final few seconds are of me being told off by staff for sanding up, not facing the front and having my camera out. About 10 mins after this footage was shot, we were evacuated down the side of the lift.

@ididi9 It is kinda boring. went on it once and it was great. second time you realise how slow and boring it is. it was only revamped in the waiting queue area with the soap brand Cussons. Thats about it. The woods area was slow and boring. they could atleast put more drops in it. like a massive one in the woods.

Its a old-ish ride, I think they are scrapping it soon and building it somewhere else. I think they will build it in the Dark Forest and Re-Style it.
